Billing Errors

Mistakes we have made on invoices or statements should be referred to our Customer Service Department within 30 days.

Account Options

Each customer receives a permanent customer number upon receipt of the first order. Please use this number on each order envelope.

Orders may be paid by one of the following methods:

• Prepayment
  Each order may be submitted with a check to cover all charges. Please write your customer and order number on each check.
• COD
  Payment is made on receipt of the completed order. There is an additional fee for orders sent COD by UPS, Fed-Ex, or the US Postal Service.
• Charge Card
  Use a Visa, MasterCard or American Express number on each envelope. Be sure to indicate card holder's name and the card expiration date.
• Please note
  Statements are generated on the first of each month. Payment in full is due by the 10th. A service charge of 1.5% monthly is added to balances which remain unpaid on the last business day of the month. Please call our accounting office if other arrangements need to be made. Accounts remaining unpaid at the end of the month are automatically placed on COD until arrangements for payment are made satisfactory to Garrett & Lane.

Returned Checks

A service charge of $35 will be added for all returned checks. It is our policy to automatically redeposit a returned check once.

Returned Orders

Orders returned to Garrett & Lane due to the inability of the customer to pay or for other reasons attributable to the customer will incur a $5.50 handling fee in addition to reshipping charges. As a general rule, payment will be required in advance before the order is shipped.

Shipping

Postage-paid mailing envelopes, boxes and labels are available from Garrett & Lane at no charge. Please, contact Customer Service or return the supply request card.

THERE WILL BE A $3.50 PACKING AND HANDLING CHARGE APPLIED TO ALL ORDERS.

OVERSIZED PRINTS 30X30 AND ABOVE WILL INCUR A SURCHARGE OF $50.00 PER PACKAGE, IN ADDITION TO YOUR NORMAL SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES.

If it is necessary for Garrett & Lane to clarify order instructions, service time will not begin until our customer has provided needed information.

Garrett & Lane now offers the following shipping options:

• UPS -Ground is available at $5.00 up to 4lbs. After 4lbs. customer will be charged the applicable rate. You can also use this special price from UPS for incoming orders. For any other service you will be charged the applicable rate.
  (No P.O. Boxes or APO Boxes with UPS)
• UPS BLUE LABEL - Second Day is available at cost .
• UPS RED LABEL - Next Day is available at cost.
• U.S. POSTAL SERVICE - Mail Service available at cost.
• FEDERAL EXPRESS - Ground is available at $5.00 up to 4lbs. After 4lbs., customer will be charged the applicable rate. You can also use this special price from Fed Ex for incoming ground orders only. For any other service you will be charged the applicable rates.
• FEDERAL EXPRESS SECOND DAY - available at cost
• FEDERAL EXPRESS STANDARD or PRIORITY - available at cost

Limitation of Liability

Although we exercise extreme care and caution handling your film, submitting any film, print, slide, or negative to this company for processing, printing or other handling constitutes an agreement by you that any damage or loss by our company, subsidiary, or agents, even though due to the negligence or other fault of our company, subsidiary or agents, will only entitle you to replacement with a like amount of unexposed film and processing. Except for such replacement, acceptance of film, prints, slides, and negatives is without warranty or liability, and any recovery for damages is excluded.

Obscene Photo Policy

Garrett & Lane's judgement will prevail on the issue of obscenity. In the proof department, we will print and charge you for only those previews printed. However, we will not be held responsible for costs incurred by you for further printing of those negatives we determine obscene.
